At the Emmys, Nava Mau rocked a custom dress by this iconic trans designer

On Sunday, Baby Reindeer star Nava Mau attended the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards. The up-and-coming trans actress was seen on the red carpet epresenting the show and also recieved a nomination in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category, although she lost to costar Jessica Gunning.

But fans are freaking out about one specific aspect of Mau’s outfit. Mau walked onto the red carpet wearing a gorgeous read dress —a custom piece made by Gigi Goode, former RuPaul’s Drag Race star and current fashion icon.

Mau meticulously worked with Goode to create the custom-made look. In the weeks leading up to the event, Goode was seem showing pics online of the two collaborating on her Instagram, but with an air of mystery as to what was going on.

Then we saw Mau’s red wrap dress, leaving the whole world stunned.
