The internet is abuzz with hype for Luca Guadagnino’s next movie, Queer, which premiered this week at the Venice Film Festival. Beyond the film’s lead actor Daniel Craig (whose performance is already being hailed as the best of his career), Queer also stars Outer Banks actor Drew Starkey and musician Omar Apollo in his debut film role. That means Starkey and Apollo have been spending their time in Venice together — and how the internet sees it, Apollo seems to be after more than just friendship with Starkey.

The evidence? Two viral clips where Apollo and Starkey get physical with each other. The first, filmed by Apollo, sees the co-stars twinning in white button-downs.

“We do look good. You got me nervous,” he says. “I’m not gonna lie, like, you actually got me nervous!” With that, he presses his head against Starkey’s, and Starkey puts his arm around Apollo.

The second video, also shot by Apollo, sees the pair late at night after their movie’s premiere. “Queer just premiered. We’re outside, drunk as f*ck,” Apollo says in the clip, slinging an arm around Starkey’s shoulder. Both videos quickly had fans’ imaginations running wild: “oh omar is def trying to f*ck and i see no shame in his game,” reads one viral post.

Will Apollo find any success flirting with his co-star? Though Apollo is openly gay (and loud about it in his music), Starkey has never publicly declared his sexuality — so if he’d return Apollo’s affections is anyone’s guess.

The two also recently shared a flirty interview in Interview Magazine that blurred the lines between bromance and romance. As Apollo asked Starkey about his time working on Queer, he showered him with compliments (“They got a new ‘it’ girl, for real,” Apollo said of Starkey’s rise through Hollywood) and called him “daddy” after Starkey offered to send him gifts.

Apollo isn’t the only guy from Queer getting handsy with Starkey. A photo of Starkey with director Guadagnino in Venice also went viral, thanks to Guadagnino’s bold hand placement: unabashedly cupping Starkey’s pec over his tank top. It’s no secret that Guadagnino often works with the hottest guys in Hollywood (see Timothée Chalamet in Call Me By Your Name and Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist in Challengers), and the internet respects game where it sees it.
