Troye Sivan and homosexuality feel almost like synonyms at this point — but a new TikTok from the “Rush” singer suggests he’s open to getting with the ladies, too.

“Lately I’ve been getting TikToks from girls who, I don’t know, I guess think I’m hot. And I’m considering it,” he admitted.

What led to the pop star’s sexuality switch-up? “I still don’t have a boyfriend, and it’s been a f*cking long time,” he reasoned. “So maybe it is time to switch, give it a go, you know what I mean? Let’s try this together.”

Sivan’s conviction seemed to dwindle as the video ends. “I can’t promise anything,” he said. “I don’t know what I’m doing, but — hm. Yeah, I don’t know. We can try.”

Sivan’s video may have only been a joke — after all, he just told us he has zero trouble getting laid on tour or otherwise — but it still sent his fans into a frenzy, particularly the women who’ve been fruitlessly crushing on him. Several were put in mind of one of Sivan’s hits: “No cause I literally will be one of your girls,” quipped one commenter on TikTok.

“Give me a caaaaalllll if you ever get loooonelllyyyy 😩,” wrote another, a reference to the “One of Your Girls” chorus.

“I look like a boy if that helps,” offered a third hopeful suitor (or suitress?).

Others marveled at the fact that Sivan, a veritable queer sex symbol, is having a hard time finding a partner. “Girl you’re literally Troye Sivan,” wrote one commenter.

“If Troye Sivan can’t get a bf there’s no hope for anyone,” lamented another. In any case, Sivan’s DMs seem to be open, so now’s the time to shoot your shot — no matter your gender.
