In Case You Thought The Song Couldn’t Get Gayer, Years & Years Covered ‘No Tears Left to Cry’

Ariana Grande has been one of the only solaces from the hell hole that is 2018. Both with her music and her discussion of Pete Davidson’s giant dong, Ariana has proven time and time again that she is truly an ally.

Well this week, we got an extra dose of Grande, because in addition to her new song “God Is A Woman” dropping, we also got a cover of “No Tears Left to Cry” from Years & Years, the British pop group led by Olly Alexander.

For BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, Years & Years did a synth pop version of the song with a nice focus on Alexander’s vocals. He sounds and moves exactly how I think I sound when I sing any Ariana song in the shower, but unlike me, Olly does have the range.

This song choice doesn’t come as a huge surprise, as Alexander previously sang bits of the song in his Instagram story back in April and the group covered Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” a few years ago.

Give the cover a watch below:
