It’s been a blessed two weeks of complete quiet from the Internet’s favorite extremely online, mold-addled femcel. But can we trust this wonderful no-tweeting streak to continue?

Our hopes are high for a few reasons. First, it seems like Imane Khelif’s legal team is hard at work making sure JK Rowling keeps her libelous opinions to herself. We haven’t heard too much from Rowling since Khelif named the writer in her cyberbullying lawsuit last week, and word on the street is that she’s even been deleting previous tweets. Unheard of before this point! But very exciting.

Secondly, we’re seeing support for folks tired of Rowling’s bullying coming from all kinds of strange pockets of the Internet, including one we thought we’d never encounter…

For those not in the know, LADbible is a UK-based tabloid site for the lads, and while they’ve scaled back in recent years from sexist and overtly lad-ish content, it’s still not a place you’d expect to find news about the TERF wars. Yet here we are!

In a recent Instagram post, LADbible posted an interview with the UK’s leading GRS surgeon Dr. James Bellringer concerning Rowling’s years-long anti-trans tirade. He has some choice words for Rowling, who’s tried to make GRS availability the subject of a completely one-sided culture war in the UK in recent years.

“I’m not going to try and write a children’s book tomorrow,” he says, “I rather wish she’d stick out of what I do.”

Bellringer goes on to say that while Rowling is entitled to her opinion, he feels it’s not fair for her to use her privilege to speak in ignorance about a group of patients she knows very little about.

Preach!

“Good lads,” one commenter posted to the screenshot shared on X. “Not Ladbible displayed better allyship that Pink News,” wrote another commenter, referring to the recent rumblings that the UK-based queer site may be scaling back on their trans coverage.

But the best comment belongs to the poster who said: “ladbible said trans men are lads too.”

Can confirm: we most certainly are.
