On a new episode of the popular web series Chicken Shop Date, host Amelia Dimoldenberg got up close and personal with SZA.

When Dimoldenberg said she wanted to “get more bendy” this year, SZA replied, “In what way? Why was that immediately sexual to me?”

Dimoldenberg went on, saying she wants to be able to do the splits. “Oh, I got some splits,” SZA said. 

But it was when Dimoldenberg said she wanted to put her leg up to her ear that SZA got especially suggestive. “That can happen,” she said. “You need a catalyst. Like, somebody to do it for you.”

“You?” Dimoldenberg asked back.

“With a strap-on?” SZA replied.

Clearly, she and Dimoldenberg were on different wavelengths. “What? What are you talking about?” Dimoldenberg asked. SZA answered with a question of her own: “‘Cause why else would your legs be over your head?”

When the clip hit social media, SZA’s fans were immediately obsessed with the singer’s sapphic side. As one user put it on X, “They don’t call her SZA for nothing.”

Others wished they could have been in Dimoldenberg’s place. The Chicken Shop Date host is hilarious, but she didn’t seem prepared to match SZA’s freak — meanwhile, plenty of her fans are ready, willing, and able.

Is SZA actually queer? She’s never publicly stated her sexuality, but she did have a rumored romance with lesbian singer Kehlani. In 2022, SZA also replied to a fan who told her people were calling her a lesbian on TikTok, writing “It’s not wrong lol” on social media.

Regardless of SZA’s sexuality, she’s more than welcome to spread the strap-on agenda.
