The first trailer for Bong Joon-ho’s next movie Mickey 17 is here, bringing us a whole lot of Robert Pattinson … and Robert Pattinson, and Robert Pattinson, and Robert Pattinson.

Mickey 17, based on the 2022 novel Mickey7, is a sci-fi spectacle all about clones. As the titular Mickey, Pattinson plays a volunteer who dies over and over, only to be cloned and go through it all again.

The trailer is chock full of stellar shots (and previews of an all-star cast including Toni Collette, Mark Ruffallo, Naomi Ackie, and Steven Yeun), but one scene especially caught fans’ eyes: a shot of two shirtless Pattinsons and an excited Ackie.

Fans of the book know what the shot implies. If it’s a faithful adaptation, the scene will see the two Pattinsons hooking up. Gay clone sex? Sign us up.

Naturally, the internet can’t wait for the movie to come out to witness the scene in all its glory. Whether you’ve got the hots for Pattinson or just want to see so-called “selfcest” play out on screen, Mickey 17 has something for everyone.

It only makes sense for director Joon-ho to bring the scene to life — after all, the Parasite director is no stranger to making two of the same man kiss. It’s just that before, he was doing it with Oscars, not Roberts.

Mickey 17 hits theaters on January 31. Check out the full trailer below.
