This fall, horror sensation Dead by Daylight will get a supermonster-sized update: drag legends the Boulet Brothers are officially coming to the video game.

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action game inspired by all things horror, where players can take on the role of either killer or survivor. It’s a dark fantasy world where the Boulet Brothers, the hosts and creators of horror-based drag competition The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, will fit right in. The collaboration will give players access to a charm and an outfit inspired by the Boulet Brothers.

“We are thrilled and honored to be joining the Dead By Daylight universe!” the Boulet Brothers said in a press release. “We feel the DBD brand is a pioneer in the world of horror gaming, and they have always welcomed and encouraged people from all walks of life to be a part of their world.”

Not only are the Boulet Brothers coming to Dead by Daylight, but Dead by Daylight is coming to The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula as part of a “special challenge” in the Emmy-nominated reality show’s upcoming sixth season. What that challenge will entail is still under wraps — perhaps the drag monsters will be tasked with designing their own killers that would fit into the world of the game. Only time will tell: Season 6 of Dragula has yet to get a release date.

“We can’t wait for players to get the chance to experience the in-game items and we can’t wait for fans to see how DBD has been incorporated into The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula show,” the Boulet Brothers continued. “It’s something we’ve never done before, and it’s game-changing.”

Dead by Daylight is no stranger to collaborations, having featured legendary figures like the Xenomorph from Alien, Chucky from Child’s Play, and Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But the Boulet Brothers are the first-ever horror hosts to be added to the game, canonizing them in the game’s extensive roster of horror icons.

“What a thrill to be working with such horror icons as The Boulet Brothers,” said Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships for Behaviour Interactive, the company behind Dead by Daylight. “Dracmorda and Swanthula are pioneers of drag entertainment and to be featured on The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula has been a huge honor. Both our communities are passionate about horror and representation and we thank them for their continued support. We can’t wait to show you more — stay tuned!”
