This gay folk singer is inventing a new X-rated music genre

Folk music and gay porn don’t sound like a winning combination — but a songwriter on TikTok is proving they can go hand-in-hand.

Meet Stefan Weiner, a folk singer-songwriter who’s using his musical talents to invent a new genre. In a series of TikToks, Weiner is reimagining stereotypical gay porn setups as folk songs, and the results are both hilarious and surprisingly catchy.

Take his most popular song from the series, an ode to outdoor scenes that’s garnered more than 24,000 views. He opens with the lyrics, “There’s a man in the woods with his pants ‘round his ankles,” and things only get more explicit from there.

Though Weiner’s comedy songs are a blast, his more serious songs deserve attention too. Earlier this year he released an EP titled Vinegar or Wine, and he’s since released another single, “Bigger Than My Bed.” It’s unclear if his X-rated tracks will ever get full versions or make it onto streaming platforms, but in the meantime, the rest of his music is streaming on all platforms — and while it may not be as explicit, it’s still very, very gay.
