Meet your favorite marching band’s favorite marching band.

Rising pop superstar Chappell Roan may have just finished her Midwest Princess tour, but her music is still bumping in stadiums thanks to Temple University’s Diamond Marching Band.

In a halftime set that’s garnered more than 141 thousand views on YouTube, the band performed a medley of some of Roan’s greatest hits, including “Red Wine Supernova,” “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl,” “Good Luck, Babe!,” and “HOT TO GO!”

In classic marching band fashion, the songs have a few surprises, including formations in the shape of a rabbit for “Red Wine Supernova” and a four-leaf clover for “Good Luck, Babe!”. During “HOT TO GO!,” the band even drops its instruments to do the song’s iconic dance. Check out the full performance for yourself below.

Naturally, fans of both Roan and marching bands in general were obsessed.

“I could totally see Chappell doing a live performance with a marching band,” noted one commenter on YouTube. “I hope this is inspiration for her to do that!”

Another commenter noticed that the band’s arrangement of “Good Luck, Babe!” also includes the melody to “Pink Pony Club.”

“Whoever made this arrangement has me IN TEARS for sneaking that bit of pink pony club into good luck, babe,” they wrote.

That commenter wasn’t the only person who found themself moved by the performance. “Why am I crying watching a marching band play a chappell roan medley?” asked one viewer.

“Good marching bands get me misty eyed anyway, this has me full crying,” remarked another. “Amazing work folks thank you for the feels.”

A third commenter reflected on what it means to see an out lesbian like Roan being celebrated by a

“Loved this, I’m trying to understand why did it make me cry??” they asked. “A lesbian pop star with [blatantly] queer lyrics & themes would never have been considered ‘school appropriate’ when I was a student, even in uni and it makes me feel so much to see how celebratory and fun and happy everyone is with her music.”

“It makes me wish I had grown up in this era, instead of in the 00s,” they continued. “Her music is so good for my heart, and part of it is how it’s being embraced so widely.”

All in all, Temple University’s band proves Chappell should be a marching band staple from here on out. If “HOT TO GO!” doesn’t play at every halftime from now on, hands will be thrown.
