We know that in the eyes of conservatives, there are many activities that make you gay or trans by default. For instance, we’ve learned that it’s gay to love your wife, have straight sex, cut your hair, and use Snapchat. But a new bizarre theory about things that make you queer and trans just dropped, and this time, it’s political.

When Fox commentator Jesse Watters recently made some comments about Kamala Harris voters, trans eyebrows everywhere were raised.

“I don’t see why any man would want to vote Democrat,” Watters explained during a recent segment. “It’s not the party of virtue, security. It’s not the party of strength.”

Interesting theories, but the best is yet to come.

“I heard the scientists say the other day,” Watters continued, “when a man votes for a woman, he actually transitions into a woman.”

Ah yes, the scientists. They’re always talking about how easy it is to spontaneously transition without the use of HRT or gender-confirming surgeries. Basically if you just think girly thoughts, poof! You’re a woman. And voting for Kamala? You basically just grew two p*ssies.

So yeah, interesting science-backed theory for sure, and trans people are definitely sitting up and taking notice. Why didn’t anyone tell us it was that easy! This whole time we’ve been dealing with gatekeeping, state laws that make it impossible to access life-saving HRT, and the many doctor’s letters that must be obtained in order to get a single gender-affirming surgery covered by health insurance. All this time we just had to be voting for the opposite gender!

Move over, the beach that makes you old and make way for: the vote that makes you trans.

Needless to say, trans folks are having a hilarious time in the comments.

“I gotta say,” one poster wrote, “it must be on a serious delay. Voted for a woman in 2016, didn’t transition until 2022.”

Well, transition is different for everyone.

“I married a woman in 1991,” one commenter explained. “As a Canadian, couldn’t vote in US elections, but admired the woman presidential nominee in 2016. WTF? It took till 2023 for transition to kick in. Must be due to the exchange rate. Thanks Ms. Clinton, now I’m a lesbian.”

“Maybe it just took a long time for the voting estrogen to reach your endocrine system,” someone else said. That’s true. After all: we don’t yet know the long-term effects of voting estrogen.

“Wish I knew about this before I spent a lot of money to medical[ly] transition,” someone else commented on TikTok. Seriously. Where was this information in this early 2000s?

Anyway, we’re so grateful for this news. The science is on our side, and we are ready to force-femme America in 2024. Thank God Jesse Watters is on top of this thing. Who said conservatives are anti-science?
