We know Elon Musk is one of Donald Trump’s biggest fans — in fact, he was jumping for joy at one of Trump’s recent rallies in a photo that made for prime meme material. But a new interview reveals he’s relying on the presidential candidate for more than just photo ops.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson (because of course he was being interviewed by Tucker Carlson), Musk said he thinks he’ll end up in jail if Trump loses the presidential election to Kamala Harris.

“If he loses, I’m f*cked,” Musk said through laughter. The conversation opens his nearly two-hour interview with Carlson — see it for yourself below.

“How long do you think my prison sentence is going to be?” Musk continued with a smile. “Will I see my children? I don’t know.” (That last comment is ironic, considering Musk already doesn’t see at least one of his children: Vivian Jenna Wilson, his trans daughter who consistently reads him for filth on social media.)

Musk has “no plausible deniability” for supporting Trump, he went on, and admits he’s “been trashing Kamala nonstop” — or rather, he’s been trashing “the machine that the Kamala puppet represents,” he clarified. Musk then tacked on a tactless joke: “Nobody’s even bothering to try to kill Kamala, ‘cause it’s pointless!” Newsflash: it wasn’t funny the first time, either.

Musk may not have realized, but his statement worked more as an ad for the Harris-Walz campaign. “I’ve become a single issue voter,” reads one viral response on social media. It seems the voting population is in agreement: if a vote for Harris is a vote to get Musk out of the public eye, we’ll all be at the polls bright an early come November 5.
