Out comic Wanda Sykes has gone viral with a video she posted about Tuesday night’s Presidential debate.

Sykes says one particular moment keeps playing in her mind.

“I keep thinking about that debate,” Sykes says. “And the thing that stays with me is how she was able to call him a m*therf*ka without calling him a m*therf*ka! That was genius.”

Sykes refers to a part in the debate when Harris pointed to Trump and said “This…” before pausing. It looked like she was about to curse him. Instead, she went with “This former president instead” instead.

“It was just a look. And we all heard it.”

Sykes then plays the clip.

“We all heard it,” says Sykes. “We all heard her call him a m*therf*ka without calling him a m*therf*ka. It was genius,” she concludes, before blowing a chef’s kiss.

Harris previously said in an interview that her favorite curse word “starts with an ‘M’ and it ends with ‘Ah’.”

Sykes’s video has had over 140k likes on Instagram.

“Everything she couldn’t do in a courtroom to bait a witness, she was able to do last night, and she ATE him up like a pet in Springfield,” agreed one responder.

“She showed great strength in that moment! Very Presidential. Very Demure,” agreed fellow comic Chloe Hilliard.

The video has also gone viral on X.

Harris wins debate

Most political observers feel Harris won the debate. She successfully appeared to irk Trump by mocking his “boring” rallies and the perception other world leaders have of him. Trump in turn went viral for shouting “they’re eating dogs” when talking about migrants in Springfield, Ohio.

Trump has now announced that he will not take part in a second debate with Harris. The Harris campaign has said the Vice President would be happy for a second round.

Initial polls conducted after the debate show that Harris has enjoyed a slight increase in popularity. A Morning Consult poll taken afterward showed her 5 points ahead of Trump, compared to 3 and 4 points in the same survey in the days leading up to the debate.

“It’s too early to say whether Harris’ debate performance is the key driver of our latest head-to-head numbers, as our short-term trends suggest she was already building momentum ahead of Tuesday’s televised match-up,” Morning Consult analysts wrote.

Ben & Jerry’s

In a separate Kamala Harris development, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, founders of Ben & Jerry’s, say they are producing a limited Kamala Harris flavor. The entrepreneurs, known for their progressive stance on a range of issues, are backing the organization MoveOn Political Action for its “Scoop the Vote” ice cream truck tour.

The 20-stop tour kicks off in Philadelphia next Monday (September 16), the day early voting in the state starts.

The Kamala flavor will be available from the truck and is called “Kamala’s Coconut Jubilee”. It consists of coconut ice cream with a caramel ripple and confetti stars. It will be issued under the “Ben’s Best” brand name, rather than Ben & Jerry’s. You can also enter an online raffle to win a pint.
