Christmas has Mariah Carey. Halloween has China Anne McClain. And Pride Month has its own queen: Lexi, aka @livinlikelexiiiiiiii on TikTok, who returns to the app every June to spread an iconic message of allyship.
Lexi first went viral back in 2021 replying to a comment asking if she was part of the LGBTQ+ community. Dancing to a remix of The Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up,” Lexi kept her answer short and sweet: “No!” As she kept dancing with a massive smile, Lexi went on, writing, “But I am a supporter/ally.”
The internet was immediately obsessed with Lexi’s unintentional display of camp. “I think about this at least once a week,” reads one comment.

“This video will never not be iconic. It’ll be in the history books,” reads another.
Lexi embraced her newfound gay icon status, returning every summer to bless the masses with her presence. In 2022, she made it clear where she stands on gay marriage, and in 2023, she gave her rendition of the “Speak, Valentina!” meme.
Now, in 2024, she’s proved that her allyship extends beyond the internet. Going back to basics, Lexi recreated her signature “When I Grow Up” dance, but this time with a group of her friends. In reply to a comment asking if Lexi had joined the LGBTQ+ community since her last video, she added on to her previous response: “No, but my friends are!” she wrote. “Happy Pride Month, I love you all.”
Judging by Lexi’s comments section, her status as the camp queen of Pride Month is still in full effect.
“I wait for this every year thank you,” wrote one commenter.
“The queen has defrosted,” wrote another.
“Literally best ally of all time,” added a third. Thanks for your iconicity and your allyship, Lexi, and happy Pride!
