Queer folks across the internet are coming together to share their happily-ever-afters and prove a viral post wrong.
The trend was inspired by a pessimistic post on X, which read, “gay relationships never last…”
Not only is that sentiment a major bummer, but lots of folks who encountered it found it patently untrue. Plenty of people across social media came together to show that gay relationships absolutely do last — and to spread a bit of humor in the process.

By far the most common response to the post was to share real-life fairy tale love stories, with couples showing how they’d stuck together for years, decades, and lifetimes.
